DevOps Engineer (offline)

We are a Swiss company offering outsourcing and outstaffing through its office in Ukraine (Kharkiv).

We are looking for DevOps Engineer for office or remote position.

Tasks:
- Implement and maintain the cloud infrastructure for GDP
- Ensure the smooth operation of our environment
- Evaluate new technologies in the field of infrastructure automation and cloud computing
- Look for opportunities to improve performance, reliability and automation
- Provide DevOps capability to team mates and customers
- Resolve incidents and change requests
- Document Solutions and communicate it to the users

Skill requirements:
- Upper-intermediate+ English (written and spoken) is a must, other languages are a plus
- Advanced experience with Linux incl. Scripting (Bash, Python)
- Advanced experience with Cloud Infrastructure/ Cloud Services (preferable on Microsoft Azure)
- Container Orchestration (Kubernetes, Nomad)
- Log and metrics management (ELK Stack), Monitoring (Prometheus)
- Infrastructure as code / Deployment and configuration automation (Ansible, Terraform)
- Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (Gitlab CI, Jenkins, Nexus etc.)
- Infrastructure Security Principles
- Networking

Nice to Have:
- Virtualization (KVM, Citrix etc.)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language
- Software engineering (design patterns, version control, automated testing, concurrent programming etc.)
- Databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Neo4J)
- Distributed systems (e.g. Spark)
- Event based systems (e.g. Kafka)
