PHP Backend Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled PHP Backend Developer with 5+ years of experience as a backend developer to join our team and help build and maintain high-quality web applications. In this role, you will be responsible for creating robust backend solutions, optimizing application performance, and ensuring a seamless integration with other services. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a fully remote environment, collaborating with a diverse team to develop innovative features and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services using PHP.

• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of backend functionalities.

• Work with Docker to create containerized applications for consistent and efficient deployment.

• Utilize AWS infrastructure to scale and optimize applications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across production and non-production environments.

• Participate in project planning and contribute to improving development best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a backend developer.

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework.

• CI/CD Tools: Proven experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.

• Containers and Orchestration: Good understanding and hands-on experience with Docker.

• Cloud Platforms: Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS in particular).

• Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with tools such as Grafana, along with code tracing and profiling tools to ensure application reliability and performance.

• Language: English proficiency at B1 or above.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of GoLang or Node.js is a plus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and scalable backend solutions.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
