Software Development Engineer in Test Offline

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze new feature requirements, specification and technical design documents, provide feedback to Product Manager and development team, and create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases accordingly.

• Understand the code flow and how it interacts with different components.

• Set up, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks.

• Participate in the root cause analysis for identified product defects.

• Perform thorough regression and acceptance testing for product releases.

• Research test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrade existing practices and processes.

• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.

• Maintain effective communication with product manager and development team and work with them closely.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with minimum 3 years of working experience.

• Knowledge of programming languages like Java/Python.

• Knowledge of using testing frameworks (JUnit/PySys/Pytest).

• Knowledge of test methodologies and their corresponding tools.

• Experience with performance and/or security testing.

• Experience with developing and maintaining test plans and test cases.

• Experience in testing REST APIs.

• Experience in relational database, and SQL.

• Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

• Good written and verbal English skills.

• Experience working in AWS and Azure Cloud environments.
