FinTech has a product, an online platform for fast international money transfers, looking for a .NET Engineer in the team for integration of external payment services.
Who are we and what do we do?
FreySoft is a technology partner of an international FinTech company with branches in Britain, Poland, and Spain employing 800+ people. Our client's product is a platform for international payments in more than 150 countries: a mobile application that is used by more than 4 million people with hundreds of thousands daily transactions!
Project tech stack
.Net + ASP.NET Core, docker, WCF, SOAP, REST, git, Github, Azure, AWS, DI, xUnit.
It is important for us – a high level of responsibility, independence, communication skills.
— Over 2 years of commercial development experience;
— Over 1 year of development experience on .NET, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET (MVC and WebAPI) platforms;
— Understanding of basic design patterns;
— Experience in developing REST API and microservices;
— Insight into C# and .NET Framework;
— Experience in writing Unit tests;
— Experience in Test Driven Development.
Is English required? Yes. Conversational English of Upper-intermediate and higher level.
It will be a plus:
— Experience of work in the field of FinTech.
What will you have to do?
— Implement new features for the system;
— To monitor the quality of the code, to conduct code reviews of team members;
— Implement Asp.Net Core microservices;
— Create RESTful microservices;
— Work closely with colleagues from the Polish and British offices;
— Daily communication with the team.
The position is open due to the increase in the project and team expansion.

In total, the client has more than 500 technical specialists. There are 6 .Net developers in the Ukrainian team today.
Where are the people who make technical decisions about the project?
— London, UK
— Is there a probation period and how long does it last? - Yes, 3 months.
— Are there overtimes? - No
— What is the work schedule? - Flexible schedule, starting from 9-11, (8 hours working day, 1-hour lunch);
— Is it possible to work remotely for some days? - yes;
— When, how, and in what currency is the salary paid/calculated? - At the end of the month in currency or Hryvnia, tied to the latest $ exchange rate.
— Is there a test task? - No.
— Interview in English? - Yes.
— Who reviews the resume? - HR, Team Lead
— How many stages of the interview, with whom?
1) HR interview (15 - 30 minutes);
2) Technical interview (up to 1 hour).
Over the last 2 years, the monolithic architecture has been transformed into more than 400 microservices. The new functionality that we create helps to reduce the cost of transactions for money transfer. Our specialists develop, test, and support APIs. Also, FreySoft integrates applications with payment systems and other external services. Part of the team is engaged in the migration of previously integrated payment systems to a new version of the application.
