Senior AQA (JS) Engineer (offline)

Required skills

4+ years’ automation + testing experience
Experience in web-applications testing (both UI and API)
Experience testing native mobile applications
Strong knowledge of HTTP protocol
Good knowledge of REST
Tools: Runscope/Postman
Experience with Appium test automation for web and mobile native apps (iOS and Android devices)
Experience in writing tests in JS (Protractor, Jasmine, Selenium)
Experience in feature files in the Cucumber framework
Experience in setting up CI/CD for tests
Experience with git or other version control system

Create, execute and maintain backend service
Create and UI auto tests for the web app to ensure the stability of services across all environments throughout development and after release
Monitor service responses and performance
Ensure UI validness
Write test documentation (reports, manuals, checklists, test cases etc.)

Project description

Edvantis opens the positions of a Senior Automation QA in order to extend the project of our partner, a US-based data analytics company that serves companies operating in the hydrocarbon industry, especially those focused on exploration and production activities. Its product portfolio includes data sets, reports, alerts, analytics tools, databases, data management tools, and expert advisory, among other services designed to track, analyze and distribute information about onshore oil and gas drilling activities, giving its clients a complete perspective of the sector in the investment decision-making process. Customer develops a large ecosystem of products related to that domain including complex data storages and pipelines, web, mobile, and desktop.
Edvantis engineers work together with customer engineers on various projects. One of these projects — security-related web application.
