Senior Node JS Developer Offline

Who are we? We run a successful e-commerce platform for wall art, print on demand and home decoration. We build inhouse our order and partner management systems, customer service tools, factory management systems, product and catalog management systems, analytics tools, CMS, CRM and more – an entire, highly customized ERP. We use MEAN stack, and already have 4 developers and a QA in the team, led by the product owner.

What we are looking for? We are looking for an experienced, independent, dominant back end developer, expert in Mongo DB, serverless architecture, Cron jobs and API optimization. He should be able to lead complex back end projects, clearly communicate his plans, blockers, ideas. We are a flat organization and depend on high personal level of each team member.

Job description:

This is a full time, dedicated, remote position. Working hours are 40/week, GTM+3 (plus-minus 1 or 2 hours max). Fluent English and good communication skills required.

The back end developer position is a new, challenging and diverse position. He/she will optimize and monitor our APIs and Cron jobs, develop a BAM system, manage our CDN and app hosting, monitor our apps’ performance, ensure data integrity among different apps, and secure our system.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of back end development experience and DBs, mostly Node.js, Mongo DB

- Expert in coding, reviewing and optimizing APIs and Cron jobs

- Able to build internal tools from scratch (such as BAM)

- Deep understanding of serverless architecture, latest technologies, best practices

- Proficient in the use of version control / source code management tools

- Experience with CDNs

- Experience with managed hosting

- Independent, reliable, willing to take full responsibility on his domain

- Advantage: experience with e-commerce back office systems, CRM, CMS, MRP, ERP
