Middle Java Developer for Dubai startup (offline)

MUST HAVE
2+ years of experience in Java, building large complex systems
Must have deep experience in Java Spring Boot
Deployed production experience with MongoDB
Deployed production experience with RESTful API development and microservices
English level - at least intermediate strong.

WILL BE A PLUS
Commercial experience developing a SaaS platform and experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, ECS and Cognito

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s/Master's Degree in Computer Science or any other relevant field.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Your primary focus is to develop the server-side logic as well as the development and maintenance of the central database, ensuring high responsiveness and performance to requests from the frontend.

Propose software programs that are compatible with future technologies.
You will be responsible for the integration of front-end elements built by the frontend teams. You must be highly skilled at developing Application Program Interface (APIs).

Grubtech - it's a restaurant and cloud kitchen (food delivery without sit-down service) SaaS management platform that helps organize all scope of their operations.
Founded a year ago, when COVID-19 began to scale and food delivery services became popular, Grubtech got a real chance for success. All our investors recognized that we were a ‘pandemic-resilient’ company. For now, we've already attracted $4M investments.

So, what is the value of using Grubtech?
One of the main products is that we automatically deploy menus across various channels and automate order capture from food aggregators into a unified and easy to manage dashboard.

The platform consists of many parts - omnichannel Point of Sale, integration with food aggregators, third-party logistics providers, an ‘interactive’ kitchen display system, multi-brand menu and recipe management, sales data, reporting and analytics, marketing platform and a customer management portal.

Grubtech cooperates with TechMagic on the outstaffing model. You'll have the opportunity to become part of the core team of a product company.

STAGE
This is a growing startup, only 1 year in development.

PROJECT TEAM
In Dubai: CTO, CEO, Head of Partnerships, Head of Engineering. In Lviv, we're hiring a team of 9 people. After 1 year this team will work directly with the client as a part of Grubtech.

PROJECT TECHNOLOGIES
Back-end: Java, Spring Boot, AWS (API Gateway, ECS and Cognito), MongoDB, Kafka.
Front-end: React.js, React-Native, TypeScript

WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time working day, the full remote is available.
