Manual QA Engineer (offline)

Team and Product:
Accellabs is seeking skilled Manual QA Engineer to join our R&D centre (Remote or in Kiev office) to help us define test strategy, test plan and insure the quality of our existing macOS application used by over million users worldwide. This is a long term contract with a big focus on product growth. You will be communicating with software engineers, product owners, automation QA engineers and other QA teams sharing knowledge and expertise.

Responsibilities:

- Participate in all phases of the Product Development Lifecycle (as needed).
- Review new requirements and craft new test scenarios and scripts. Build, review, and maintain a test strategy and test plan (or its part).
- Participate in development of testing support tools and test automation, including functional, stress, regression, and acceptance tests.
- Test (manually and/or automatically) the product on different versions of macOS platform.
- Report the bugs to ensure the quality of products for customer usability.
- Verify the issues reported by the customers or external QA teams.
- Perform tests assisting the product team to locate the root causes of issues and debug them.

Skills and Experience:

- Experience in the QA area for at least 1.5 years
- iOS or macOS apps testing experience is a big plus
- Strong understanding of SDLC, SCRUM
- Ability to get things done
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Good time management, planing.
- Upper-intermediate or fluent English
- University degree in computer science or any engineering/math related is a plus
