Automation QA Engineer (Python or JavaScript) Offline

We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer to cooperate with a leading photo processing software publisher that brings new life to image processing. You will be part of an international team collaborating on creating cross-platform solutions that are the dream of professional photographers all over the world.

The long-term roadmap is full of exciting and innovative features challenging the team to be creative and inventive and to keep high standards of Software Development.

Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience in Quality Control activities

- 2+ years of experience in automation Desktop testing (or experience in Mobile)

- Good understanding of test theory and practice

- Deep knowledge of Python or JS and OOP

- Experience in working with bug trackers (Jira, Redmine, etc)

- Experience in Git

- Level of written and spoken English – intermediate and above

Would be an advantage

- Experience in automation GUI-testing

- Manual testing background, experience of test design

- Being an advanced user of both Windows and macOS

- Experience in setting up tests in a virtualized environment

- Liking photography and using photography software

Areas of Responsibilities

- Covering software with auto-tests on a daily basis

- Involvement in SCRUM practices (grooming, planning etc)

- Manual testing upon project needs

- Test cases review and code review

- Requirements analysis.
