RDBMS background (Oracle is preferable)
Front-end experience is a plus: JQuery, JSP, JSF, Bootstrap 3/4
Linux experience: basic/regular user
GWT/Vaadin experience is a plus
XML/XSD/XSLT/XPath is a plus
Technical or Telecom/OSS/BSS background is a must
Good written and verbal English skills is a must
Job Responsibilities
Working as a part of big geographically distributed team
Working on functionality customization of big enterprise solutions for telecommunication area
Design and implement (including SQL queries)
Uplift the existing code to the newer Java version
Support remote QA team with unit tests, integration tests and end-to-end tests
Improve and support the deployed code and configuration
Troubleshoot and analyze problems identified in the created solutions
Everyday communication with customer team (requirements clarification, status update, issues etc.)

Our Client is the Company is a world-leading provider of telecommunications equipment & services to mobile & fixed network operators. Over 1,000 networks in more than 180 countries use company's equipment, & more than 40 percent of the world's mobile traffic passes through company's networks.
GlobalLogic is engaged into System Integration activities of a various OSS/BSS solutions (Network Inventory Management System, Number Management and IP Address Management System) for a leading provider of telecommunications services in the Middle East. The company provides mobile and fixed telephone services, along with Internet and other data services, to residential and business customers.
Network Inventory Management System helps to mobile & fixed network operators around the globe to manage physical, logical network resources and services, automate routine workflows for service design and provisioning, improve services fulfillment process reliability and efficiency.
Number Management System is a subscriber numbers inventory management system to manage numbers lifecycle. It automates number selection and number assignment processes, including services provider change (number portability).
IP Address Management System helps with planning, tracking, and managing the network IP address for subscribers as well as for various services and interfaces of the telecommunication networks.
Scope of the project:
Development of integration custom modules that connect network inventory management and customer number management solutions with 3rd-party systems (CRM, NMS, Activation, trouble ticketing system, workforce management system, order management);
Development and maintenance of custom utilities that automate routine workflows (e.g. web utility to automatically design end-to-end paths etc.);
Implementation of data migration from legacy systems to new inventory;
Uplifting the developed utilities code to support the new versions of the main products.
Solution based on Service-oriented architecture (SOA) that is ancestor of the modern microservices architecture. Custom modules were developed using J2EE, Java 7 and Java 8 technologies. Current project also includes transition of the entire solution to newer Java version in 2021.
Project main activities are performed within the GMT+2 and GMT+3 time zones and follows Ukrainian work week.
