Middle/Senior QA Automation (offline)

Responsibilities

- Automated test cases creation and implementation.
- Propose own ideas about testing process of developed solution;
- Communication with developers, QAs and project owners;
- Analyze business requirements, design documents for completeness and testability;
- Execute test cases and update test documentation;
- Create effective test reports and traceability matrix;
- Review test failures and determine the sources of problems (test deficiencies, deviation from requirements, etc.)
- Work with bug tracking system to record, trace and drive to resolution defects and issues discovered
- Support development team in issues reproduction and root cause analysis
- Report work progress continuously through attendance of daily & weekly project internal meetings

Required skills

- 3-5 years relevant Automation experience
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent communication, analytical skills and decision-making ability in collaborative environments
- Good understanding of test processes and able to apply improvements
- Attention to details and able to identify test data requirements
- Understanding Software testing role in SDLC
- Time management
- Troubleshooting skills
- Experience in automating tests as part of CI/CD
- Comfortable and understand how to work with Maven and build tools like Jenkins and version control e.g GIT, Github
- Good understanding of HTTP, APIs (The fundamentals)
- Solid of understanding XML / JSON
- Scripting languages like Bash and/or Python
- Database and query languages knowledge
- Good understanding product management tools like JIRA
• Good understanding frameworks and libraries like JavaScript, jQuery, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
- Solid understanding of testing frameworks i.e Junit, Selenium, Karate
- Comfortable with stubbing tools like wiremock / hoverfly and other tools like SOAPUI and POSTMAN
- Able to work in a team with diverse roles
