Senior Automation QA Engineer with Javascript (offline)

The Opportunity

Our client is a marketplace focused on incontinence products and other solutions to meet the needs of seniors. The startup has already received $30 M in its first round of funding and has sold about 50 million units of its flagship product.

Must have:

4+ years of experience in software quality assurance
2+ years of experience in automation testing
Experience with setting up automation process on a project
Proven experience with UI automation (preferably using JavaScript/TypeScript)
Solid understanding of REST API concept
Solid understanding of Client-Server architecture
Proven experience working with GIT or any other VCS
Understanding of CI concepts
Solid communication skills, being comfortable working in a very dynamic and collaborative work environment
An upper-intermediate level of English or above (both written and oral)

Nice-to-have:

Experience with building UI Automation framework from a scratch
Practical experience with Cypress, Selenium
Practical experience in testing and automating REST API
A practical understanding of the agile process and delivery
Good knowledge of databases
Understanding of programming principles and patterns
A computer science degree or similar

Responsibilities:

Setting up the automation process on the project
Designing, implementing and supporting scenarios for UI automation testing
Reporting automation testing results and KPIs
Improving of quality process from automation perspective
SCRUM meetings and communication with the customer
