Senior Software Engineer (Scala, Java)

We are looking for Senior Software Engineer to assist in the maintenance and further development of the API-accessible software.

Requirements:
Experience using Scala minimum 1 year
Minimum 3 years’ experience in programming

If no Scala experience:
Minimum 2 years of programming experience leveraging lambdas preferably in Java
Experience with functional programming practices
Experience with asynchronous programming and handling of Futures/Promises
Experience with akka-http or other REST API framework
Experience writing memory and computational efficient algorithms

Project:
API-accessible software which accepts pre-formatted investment transaction history and provides accounting reports and tax documents for taxpayers
