Junior Pro Java Developer (with experience)

You will work on the US financial project. It is an online expense reporting and invoice management service that provides complete process automation and cost controls around an organization's accounts payable operations.

Requirements:

-1 year + experience
-Understanding of various design patterns and OOP paradigm;
-Experience with Java;
-Experience with SQL;
-Experience working with source control (e.g. Git);
-Understanding of API calls;
-Knowledge of Agile development and SCRUM, Jira;
-Ability to write clear, concise documentation.


Will be a plus:

-Knowledge of Groovy;
-Experience with Spring, Hibernate, SpringBoot.


Responsibilities:

-Completes software engineering tasks under a high-degree of supervision;
-Relies on very limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals;
-SDLC processes are followed, including adopting agile-based processes/meetings, peer code-reviews, and technical preparations required for scheduled releases;
-Develops their productivity skills by learning source control, editors, the build system, and other tools as well as testing best practices;
-Follows existing coding standards;
-Learn industry jargon and business concepts to better understand the challenges our technology is designed to solve;
-Seeks mentorship and takes constructive advice from peers;
-Effective in communicating status to the team;
-Accepts feedback graciously and learns from everything they do.
