Junior/Middle JavaScript Developer (remove; any city)

We are looking for a Junior or Middle JavaScript/TypeScript Developer who is capable to work remotely to join our game design and development team. This is a unique opportunity to join a business set for success as we build its foundations and an ideal opportunity for a Junior role to be fast-tracked to a senior or lead role inside a rapidly growing business.
The ideal person should be experienced in TypeScript and in building back-end experiences, but also have good mathematical and problem problem-solving abilities.

Role Responsibilities
Working closely with the Tech Lead Developer, Head of Game Production, and Mathematician, the roles primary responsibilities will be to:
1. Add a new feature to the simulation engine, as well as prototype new games or feature user experiences in TypeScript and assist in the creation of new game ideas.
2. Create simulation tools that will calculate gameplay probabilities.
3. Create and support new game servers. Assist in communicating with outsourced game development teams


Key skills
• TypeScript and understanding of OOP
• Node.js
• Highly intelligent with a passion and ability to solve problems
• Strong communication skills – Fluent in English
• Fun to work with
• Ability and equipment to work remotely

• Experience in the casino games industry
• Algorithms and data structures
• Experience with Electron
• Knowledge of modern HTML and CSS, WebGL (Pixi.js)
• Knowledge of other programming languages: C#, Java, C++, etc.
• Experience with containers and Docker
• Experience with Webpack
• Has played or enjoyed slot games, other types of gambling games, or betting
• Plays or enjoys card games, board games
• Enjoys puzzle and strategy based strategy-based video games as well as other video games
• Degree level Computer Science, Mathematical or Statistical education
