Mobile Test Automation Expert

On behalf of Ciklum Digital, Ciklum is looking for a Mobile Test Automation Expert to join our growing Kyiv team on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

Develop solutions and proposals based on best practices to guide the automation development strategy and implementation into new technologies that would help to maximize product quality
Test Automation framework design
Automation of regression and other functional testing on Mobile Project. Development of the test case execution plan, test case execution, managing issues, and status metrics
Test data and test infrastructure preparations
Integrating automated testing into CI processes
Performing all testing activities for initiatives across assigned projects, utilizing processes, methods, metrics and software that ensure the quality, reliability and systems safety and security
Making conclusions and reporting about stability of the product under test

Requirements

6+ years of professional experience in QA Automation area
Solid skills in JS / js / Typescript and/or Java and/or Kotlin
Hands on experience in mobile app test automation using Appium
Experience building apps with Xcode and/or Android Studio
Use of iOS/Android simulators/emulators
Experience with testing web-based software (Selenium WebDriver, WebDriverIO, etc.)
Proven experience in creation of automation frameworks from scratch
Strong experience with continuous integration processes and tools (Jenkins, Teamcity, or similar)
Experience of working with version control systems (e.g. GIT and others)
In-depth knowledge of test automation approaches and procedures
Expert knowledge of different testing methods, techniques and types
Experience writing queries against relational DBs (e.g. MySQL) and/or document DBs (e.g. Mongo)
Understanding of Agile/Scrum
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or relevant
Good English skills – Upper-Intermediate and above
Desirable
Experience with Docker, containerization tools
Experience with RESTful API testing
Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python/C# would be a great plus
