Market Research Programmer Offline

The ongoing mission of a survey programmer is to turn a survey questionnaire into an error-free online survey. The role is designed for someone who has some experience programming market research surveys (preferably complex ones). The actual programming is executed using a combination of a front-end survey tool and backend scripting (for complex features). The survey programmer will work alongside project managers and quality assurance specialists to ensure that the programmed survey meets and exceeds client expectations. Additionally, you will have the ability to work with our software engineers and designers to improve the survey experience for all survey respondents. We're looking for someone who is comfortable navigating complex survey logic, communicates effectively and works well with others, and is interested in having a hand shaping the survey experience for thousands of medical professionals and patients.

 

Requirements:

Experience with programming market research surveys (not required, but strongly preferred)

Experience with programming surveys in Decipher (not required, but preferred)

Intermediate level skills with Python 2.7 (or other languages), XML, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS “OR” have strong problem solving skills with the ability to learn things quickly in a challenging environment and think outside the box

Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities:

Analyzing a survey questionnaire and estimating project hours

Turning a questionnaire document into an online survey using the Decipher survey tool

Testing survey programs to ensure that they are error-free and meet client expectations

Working with project managers to ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded

Communicating with clients to obtain clarifications and/or to resolve survey programming issues

Identifying and assessing scope changes

Troubleshooting and resolving issues with programmed surveys

Reviewing collected data for outliers, skip logic issues, or inconsistencies

Working with the engineering team to improve the quality of our surveys
