Project Description
A BDD based platform that stores and runs e2e UI test cases, and provides comprehensive reports. BDD will cover actions for both for Oracle Forms and Html Web Pages.
End users of a BDD framework are business analysts who can write expressions in plain English test cases in an acceptance environment.
Project Objectives
● Provide an automation test suite and framework to run automated new features testing, regression and smoke testing.
● Make it possible to write new automated test cases without writing new code by using behavior driven approach.

General Information
• Able to create necessary documentation
• Able to learn new things fast and deliver production-ready code as fast as possible
Responsibilities
• Full-cycle test framework development
• Communicate with the customer to clarify requirements
• Integration with other clients’ systems and applications;
Background & Skills
• Strong Java Core skills with understanding the performance issues, code readability and maintainability
• Strong knowledge and experience with Selenium
• Strong CI/CD knowledge
• Ability to design an architecture of a test automation framework from scratch
• Strong Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Strong Knowledge of OOP and design patterns
• Experience in testing frameworks (junit/testNG/mockito)
• Experience with regression testing and providing manual testing coverage for web apps
• Practical knowledge of Linux command line
• Good verbal and written communication skills is required
• Solid SDLC understanding and experience working in agile environment
• Self-management and strong prioritization skills
• Capability to work in agile environment without direct supervision
Preferred qualification
• Understanding of Acceptance Test Driven Development with BDD tools like Cucumber
• Practical knowledge of RPC, REST, UI AWT, Dependency Injection frameworks
Has understanding of
• Databases (SQL, noSQL)
• Troubleshooting (logs analysis, debugging)
• Java specific data structures, their performance issues, drawbacks and benefits
Nice to have
• Java internals knowledge: GC, JIT compilation, memory management, multithreading
