QA engineer (offline)

About you:
Good understanding of QA methodologies & practices;
Expertise in reviewing software requirements;
Knowledge of iOS/Android user interface guidelines/development tools.
Experience in different types of technologies: JSON, SQL;
Experience with bug tracking system: Redmine, Jira, TestRail, Confluence;
Good understanding of VCS (Git, Bitbucket).
You can develop test plans/cases within an agile framework from requirement specifications; define methodologies, pass/fail criteria;
You can take an active part in influencing the design, UX & product requirements from a QA perspective.

What you’ll be doing:
Develop and execute functional and non-functional tests for new features and products.
Analyze live user flows to be used as a base for your self-composed test plans.
Analyze business requirements, technical design documents and bug trends and test-case gaps and improve test coverage;
Execute tests, troubleshoot failures, review, and report on results, work with development groups to identify and resolve problems;
Develop, implement and execute checklists/test cases;
Troubleshoots customer-reported bugs;
Participate in technical communication within the team and to other groups associated with specified projects.
Take an active part in influencing the design, UX & product requirements from a QA perspective.
The ability to use automation tools to automate regression QA cycles and assure high test coverage - would be a plus.
