DevOps Engineer (offline)

The company operates on the European and US markets and has its own R&D center in Odessa, and sales offices in Italy, France, Germany, the Netherlands and the USA.

Today Wildix is searching for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer whose primary responsibility will be providing day-to-day support for and ensuring the performance of the enterprise-wide Unix System infrastructure and interconnected technologies.



Required skills:

Good experience in Linux
Working experience with web servers like Apache/Nginx
Strong knowledge and understanding of the TCP/IP protocol and networking
Knowledge of security policies for Linux/Unix servers
Standard administrator scripting skills - bash/python
Experience with various monitoring systems (zabbix, monit, checkmk)
Experience with Docker
Experience with automation tools like Jenkins and GitLab
Database administration SQL(MSSQL, MySQL, MariaDB) and NoSQL(MongoDB, Cassandra)
Understanding of Cloud platforms and services. AWS is preferred(EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, VPC)
Experience working with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Cloud Formation
Good understanding of local and global Load Balancing

Experience in the following is an advantage:

Hands on experience with mission-critical/high-availability systems management
VoIP technologies
Experience with ELK stack
A good understanding of Cloud Security, specifically IAM Roles & Policies, Security Groups and Encryption keys
Experience with server-less architecture




Responsibilities:



Deployment to dev/stage/production environments
Implementation/management of High Availability solutions
Participate in technical discussions to aid system design, analysis, and troubleshooting
Maintain production infrastructure
Improve, extend and maintain CI/CD automation and systems administration automation
Work with product development teams to design and deploy applications
Responsible for software deployments, patches, and system upgrades
Contribute to and participate in maintaining documentation and tickets
