Senior Windows Engineer (offline) to $4000

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join a rapidly growing MSP in the hedge fund vertical. This is a highly technical role providing excellent career development opportunities for the successful candidate. You will be working with other Systems Engineers and Senior Systems Engineers in a very collaborative environment which allows for very quick technical growth.


PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS:
— 5+ years of IT Experience (Desktop Support, Systems Engineering, Systems Administration)
— Good ability to communicate tech / non-tech information in the English language
— Strong knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, LAN / DMZ / WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing Protocols, Switching and Firewalls
— Systems Administration and Design: strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Platforms and services (Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Server)
— Implementation and Support of Cloud products — e.g. Office 365, Box, Dropbox, SharePoint / OneDrive, Azure
— Implementation and Support of Storage and Virtualization platforms— e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, XenServer, Nimble, Pure Storage, NetApp, EMC
— Scripting / Automation Framework knowledge — e.g. PowerShell, WSH, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, CloudFormation


NICE TO HAVE:
— Implementation and Support of Multifactor / SSO / MDM Products— e.g. Okta, Intune, Duo, RSA, AirWatch, MobileIron
— Implementation and Support of Enterprise networking equipment — e.g. Palo Alto / Cisco Firewalls, Cisco Switches, Cisco / Meraki / Ubiquity WAPs
— Implementation and Support of Cybersecurity products — e.g. Sophos, Symantec, Carbon Black, Cylance, SecureWorks, eSentire, Mimecast, IronPort, Proofpoint
— Financial industry experience including familiarity with market vendor applications: Bloomberg, Thompson Reuters, FactSet, CapIQ
— MSP and Public Cloud experience are big pluses
