Frontend Engineer (React.js, React Native) Offline

The business has succeeded through engineering innovation, efficiency and flexibility; it is now taking leaps forward in user centred experience and design and is transforming its B2B approach to include B2C.

Project overview: Our apps get smarter every time, so you can catch more fish, navigate more efficiently and safer and be relax onboard so your experience on the water becomes more awesome.

We are building those on React Native to work seamless across platforms, mobile and web.

 

On the backend side, we are using a number of technologies like Go, Nodejs, and Java.

 

To help us deliver on our vision, we are looking for a talented Front-end Engineer to architect and implement the services powering the Navico mobile apps. Your main metrics are user engagement, satisfaction, scalability and reliability. To make this challenge achievable, we have a great product, an exciting vision, a fast and iterative development environment, a talented and very energetic team and a very experienced management team.

The end goal is to create an application that supports the existing and future use cases while being server-rendered and code-split. We also aim to reuse as much business logic as possible from the react-native application. The application is written in ES6 using ESLint and Prettier rules to enforce consistent code quality.

 

Requirements:

2 years of experience writing Javascript applications

Experience supporting production applications

High capacity and willingness to learn
