Requirements

- Strong understanding of K8S environments/YAML/API/CLI. Ability to pick up Istio configurations. Debug using standard kubectl/istioctl cmds, viewing logs from both SaaS and client clusters, viewing and debugging Envoy logs, etc.

- AWS configuration and management knowledge

- Deploying CI/CD pipelines

- Operational experience in managing Kubernetes clusters

- Professional in deployment, docker, and scripting

- Python/bash programming

Responsibilities

- Managing client’s AWS+EKS (with Istio) environment and supporting our customers when they have issues by applying standard techniques of debugging like log dumps, thread dumps, etc.

- Maintaining the CICD pipelines used for all client’s system and integration testing and rolling out microservice SaaS code from staging to production environments on a weekly basis.

- Participating in design and product development

- Participating in system testing framework development and maintenance

- Working in close connection with the remote teams

- Direct communication with the customer
