DevOps Engineer (AWS) (offline)

Responsibilities:

- Develop a solution for automated deployment and CI/CD;
- Design and develop deployment kits for e-commerce platforms;
- Support and continuous enhancement of software development infrastructure: continuous integration and delivery, databases, cloud services, systems monitoring, etc.;
- Consulting developers in infrastructure configuration issues (OS performance optimization, network bottlenecks, storage configuration, etc).;
- Collaboration with a distributed team of developers, testers, analysts;
- Collaboration with corporate and customer’s IT services.

Nice to have:

- Experience with Go programming language
- Experience with Prometheus, Terraform

Requirements:

- Excellent communication and English skills - direct communication with the customer will be required
- AWS – looking for someone who knows how to deploy, configure and troubleshoot applications running in AWS environment
- AWS DevOps Tools. Must Have: AWS Code Commit, CodeStar, Code Build, Deploy, CodePipeline, Cloud Formation Templates
- Infrastructure – connectivity between apps and services
- Docker – understanding Docker environment, deploying/testing apps in Docker
- Best practices – ability to suggest better approaches or changes to improve performance, security, maintainability
- Terraform (would be a plus) – Terraform is used by our DevOps team to automate the creation of the environments and application resources such as S3 buckets, SQS queues etc
