QA Manager with FinTech background (offline)

The Integration Team is targeted to architect, research, develop and maintain various developer/client APIs for digital trade bank facilities and services. Purpose:
The PMO Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for supporting a wide variety of quality assurance activities associated with test management, reporting and governance of the Client book of work. Reporting to the Head of PMO, day to day you will be working closely with the Client project management, extended vendor project management / QA teams, design agency and technology teams.

Key Duties:
- Define a test strategy and test plan that ensures that Client are executing the appropriate amount of test coverage from a functional, automated and non-functional aspect;
- Define an End to End test plan, manage and execute the plan working with Client team (business, operations, control functions, data services, IT Services) and partner vendors;
- Work with the Client team to define test cases / test scripts and preparation of test data. This will involve co-ordinating creation across Client and vendors as well as creating them yourself where there are gaps or constraints from a capacity perspective;
- Document the test artefacts, reporting, dashboards leveraging the Client's tools available;
- Provide weekly updates on test progress, defect fix progress in accordance with industry best practice and leveraging Client's tool sets;
- Provide any other QA reporting required as part of project execution;
- Manage all testing aspects within the Agile sprint cadence, Project stages, UAT and path to live activities;
- Establish and or work within Client QA approach and other Client Technology standards and processes;
- Role will cover the client experience portal project and the trade platform implementation project.

Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in QA Lead and/or QA Manager roles;
- Minimum 5 years of overall professional experience in Software Engineering;
- Considerable QA experience within the financial services, Fintech or other regulated industry; Track record of establishing and leading a quality assurance program and multi-vendor teams, preferably in a Cloud based, DevOps, Agile environment;
- Able to align with strategic plans, operating plans, design principles and where appropriate establish or enhance quality assurance procedures, processes;
- Strong experience with test driven development, testing frameworks (including data testing, service testing, performance testing, load testing etc), test automation and RPA;
- Experience in monitoring industry trends and directions; developing and presenting substantive technology recommendations to senior management;
- Excellent analytical thinking, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with strong ability to influence both technology and business partners;
- Experience in all aspects of quality assurance for client-facing projects.

Skills:
- Industry standard quality assurance certification;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure full suite of products;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Productivity Suite;
- Strong experience implementing automated testing in cloud environments in a DevOps/CI/CD based environment delivering defect free releases supporting client experience platforms and financial services projects;
- Expert knowledge of Agile software testing and able to define, document and put key Agile principles into practice to test solutions incrementally including continuous testing;
- Demonstrable experience of using market-leading test automation tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, SoapUI;
- Demonstrable experience of managing testing leveraging continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Maven & GIT;
- Strong continuous improvement mindset, with demonstrated ability to lead & deliver solutions to complex problems;
- Outstanding influencing and persuasion skills, leading expert teams with personal drive;
- Demonstratable experience in managing testing from client experience through to IT Services Management – end to end testing;
- Must have - advance writing and verbal communications skills in English. This is a hands-on role that will require the creation of the test plans and creation of test script/cases and test data. The role will require someone who can work with different teams internally and externally to develop a comprehensive and executable test program.
