About the product

Brands want to deliver their product data to retailers. Retailers want to have it on their websites.

However, they face the following issues:

Even when Brand have data hub with structured data (or outsource this to Content creation company), this is not enough for smooth data transportation/transformation into retailer format. This happens because every retailer has their own product data model. And their product data are different from Brand data hubs.

You simply cannot copy it from Hub and place to retailers because every product category will have differences and every product field will have different validation rules compared to retailer validation rules per the same field.

Based on this need we created middleware which able automatically:

Grab data from Brands hubs

Applies unique retailer requirements for data format and model.

Transform Brand hubs data to retailer format of data.

Push it to the retailer.

Daily, weekly, real-time, or per request updates.

Clients for these products could be both retailers and brands. In different cases it is different - is it retailer or brand willing to pay for integration.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge and understanding of QA theory (test artefacts, test design techniques, test types) and ability to apply the knowledge into daily operation;

Understanding of SDLC;

Experience in creating checklists and test cases;

Understanding of bug life cycle and experience in bug reporting;

Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, client-server interaction);

Ability to write SQL queries;

Understanding of Git or other VCS;

Basic knowledge of Agile methodology;

Good communication skills and teamwork;

Intermediate English level.

Nice to have Skills:

Familiarity with XML and JSON syntax;

Experience in testing REST API.Knowledge of basic UNIX commands;

Experience in working with Jira/Confluence.

Main Responsibilities:

Analyzing business requirements;

Creating test documentation (checklists);

Manual testing of UI and API;

Reporting bugs.
