Senior DevOps Engineer for a product company (offline)

About the client:

Pilvi™ is a Finnish product company working on automated online sales software platform for SaaS companies and cloud service providers. The Pilvi™ platform enables companies to automate the sale of digital products such as SaaS or cloud services online, including trial, sales, and payment phases, as well as ongoing maintenance after the sales transaction aimed at minimizing attrition.

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with basic PHP SW Development skills. This is a fully remote role. We’re considering people from any location in Ukraine. We’d like to have a chat if you have:

- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Great English and communication skills
- Strong Docker and Kubernetes skills
- AWS
- Skills in Git
- PostgreSQL or other relational databases experience
- Basic PHP SW Development experience. PHP will not be related to DevOps tasks, but to development tasks that occur from time to time

Additionally, you could impress us with:

- Any expertise in one of the following: Java EE, RHEL, jQuery, Redis, HTML+CSS, Backbone.js, Vue.js-framework

Responsibilities
— Prototype and implement infrastructure in Pilvi internal servers + AWS cloud
— Create, maintain and improve CI/CD and automated testing pipelines
— Implement infrastructure automation using Kubernetes and Dockers
— Plan and execute migration of old environments to the new Kubernetes based
— Document the entire new network infrastructure
— Ensure that software builds happen predictably, consistently, and reliably
— Work directly with engineers, QA testers to ensure coordinated releases
— Plan, implement and improve monitoring and logging systems
— Provide best practices of system availability and scalability
— Support regular cadence of security updates and hotfixes
— Perform root cause analysis for technical issues
