Lead Embedded Streaming Engineer (offline)

Responsibilities and Duties
- Developing code in C for RTOS-based and simple scheduler-based MCUs
- You’ll be responsible for the development of a low latency video streaming solution. The solution is used for bidirectional communication/conferencing, which works reliably in different network conditions
- Design and implementation of complex and power-efficient solutions for SoC
- Lead the team of qualified embedded engineers, follow Agile processes, perform code and architecture reviews

Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ years of commercial development experience
- 1+ year on the lead position
- MS or BS in Computer Science/Mathematics/etc
- Strong C/C++ skills
- Practical knowledge of one or more of the common streaming/control protocols — RTP/RTCP, RTSP, SIP, SDP
- Understand the basics of video and audio encoding technologies
- Deep understanding of network programming, VoIP and Video over IP
- Experience with ARM-based MCUs and SoCs
- Cross-platform development, code optimization skills
- Embedded devices complex issues debugging experience
- Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

- Understanding of multiple media codecs — H264, H265
- Hardware knowledge and principles understanding
- Scripting languages experience (Python, bash, shell, Perl, Tcl, etc.)
- Contribution to open source
- Experience with AWS
