Middle Node.js Developer (offline)
Project Description:
GigGoMe.com is the online marketplace and one-stop shop where music lovers with a passion to travel can easily find and book their festival tickets as well as how to get there and where to stay. We launched a first release of the product in July 2019 working already with big festivals such as ‘Metal Days’. We are now looking to create a core team including developers to build and further improve what we already have.
You will become part of our young and dynamic team of professionals. The company culture is flat, driven, energetic and passionate. We work internationally and love innovation. Since we are a small team of about 5 people, communication lines are short and direct. There is lots of room to come with your own suggestions and ideas for new features and improvements, but it is also important that priority tasks get solved in time. In the company we all know each other, we trust each other’s qualities and we help each other where needed, also if this means helping to fix someone else’s mistakes.
Responsibilities:
- Translating design visuals into responsive webpages
- Maintaining and setting up MySQL databases where needed
- Providing input on the technical level and to come with suggestions for improvements
- Making connections with APIs of partners and maintaining them
- Solving client questions related to the technical parts of the platform
- Working together with the IT Architect and Systems Engineer and product owner
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of JS (Node)
- Extensive knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Apache2
- MySQL
- Memcached
- Affinity with Design implementation
- VCS (eg. GitHub or Bitbucket)
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of PHP7
