Junior Java Developer Offline

The projects are technically challenging in an environment that is very engaging.

We are looking for developers to join the team that works on development & maintenance of the administrative component for FXT trading system. The goal of the project is to enabling simple management for the tens of thousands of users who rely on FXT.

Application code is mainly Java. The analytics logic is written in Scala. Databases: Oracle (Exadata), Hadoop (Hive, Hbase). Protokols in use: FIX, XML

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality software, design, and functional documentation

• Provide estimates for specific software feature implementation

• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle

• Build unit tests for your code

• Develop and maintain tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code that follows open sourcing standards

• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting

• Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies and standards

• Incorporate performance & failover tests as part of the overall process

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer - 1+ years

• Understanding of distributed architectures, component-based architectures - 1+ years

• Java core - 1+ years

• Messaging (JMS, MQ, Solace) - 1+ years

• JDBC - 1+ years

• Oracle SQL and MS SQL Server - 1+ years

• Good communication skills - both verbal and written

• Upper-Intermediate (and above) English

• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Result-oriented mindset
