About Customer
Our customer is a leading software provider for education with HQ in New York. We've been partnering for about 10 years already, and during this time successfully delivered a variety of projects and products, which help US teachers educate and assess the results of schoolchildren.
Currently, we're working on 10 different projects within the customer's portfolio

Project Description
The current vacancy is open for our Odyssey Team division. The product is aimed to cover student authorization/authentication processes in various educational institutions.
This is the newly open position due to the extension of the existing team.
The successful candidates will be proposed to join the team of professionals consisting of Business Analyst, Developers, Quality Engineers.

Technologies
Tools and frameworks: WebDriverIO, Selenium, Jira
Monitorig: Datadog, Splunk, Google analytics
Programming languages: JavaScript, Java, Python (is a plus)


Duties and Responsibilities
Automation Testing Developer duties:
• Coordinate work with other team members
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code of automation tests
• Create/update/review of testing documentation
• Perform and create automation to manual testing where it is possible;
• Take part in code reviews
• Report all issues found
• Participate in project meetings

Required skills
• Strong knowledge of concepts and activities in software testing
• Testing Web UI with WebdriverIO
• Familiarity with browser development tools
• Previous experience with Jira or any other issues tracking software
• Feel comfortable working in Linux environment
• Working with Git
• Good knowledge of JavaScript is a big plus
• AWS experience is a plus
• ISTQB Certification is a big plus
Abilities:
• Ability to communicate with customer
• English: intermediate strong level or higher.
• Ability to multi-task with multiple priorities and time frames.
• Ability to work independently with no supervision.
