Project & Team Manager (offline)

SPACE44 is a service provider for software development and uses teams in Germany on site at the customer's premises or remote teams for customers in Europe and the USA. We provide suitable candidates for our customers at short notice or build and manage entire teams. We are responsible for scouting, onboarding and ongoing quality assurance and smooth communication and project management in order to guarantee our high quality standards for software development.

As a project and team manager in the Ukraine, you are our local operation lead under the lead and guidance from the CEO of the company in Munich, Germany. You are the central element in finding and integrating the right candidates for the respective customer from the Ukraine. From the first interviews of the candidates, defining the requirements if necessary, setting up workspaces and scrumboards to continuously coaching the candidates. You are able to relax friction, you are able to meet the needs of our clients immediately and in the best possible way because there is a high personal trust.

In the future you might lead all our teams from all over the world from Southeast Asia to Eastern Europe to North and South America. Your excellent charismatic and emphatic skills help you to understand and motivate all team members and to create a sense of team spirit. Our clients have an excellent personal relationship and big trust in your work as the right hand of the Munich office.

In addition, you have practical experience in IT product and project management and experience from similar roles, optimally with including HR work. You are absolutely firm with Scrum and you can administer Jira systems and you also know how to maintain a knowledge base. If necessary, you can get on the developer's feet without any problems, e.g. Times have not been fully recorded or the morning start is getting late. In concrete terms:

YOUR TASKS
You are the linchpin in communication between teams, projects and the management in the Munich office
Managing expectations of clients, anticipating bottle necks, dealing with mis expectations of clients or underperforming developers
Developer scouting, interviewing, onboarding and consistent management
Set up Jira projects and scrumboards and coach developers when needed
Monitor compliance with the correct communication rules and channels in the development process

YOUR PERSONALITY
You like to take the initiative and are communicative, you can have a motivating effect on a team and recognize and solve problems
You work analytically, logically and structured to establish and convey clear processes
In conflict situations between team and customer, you stay calm and humble to resolve disputes successfully or, ideally, not let them arise in the first place
You have common sense, good problem-solving skills with the right prioritisation
You work very independently and transparent with a high sense of your responsibility versus getting your decisions approved by the management
You are not satisfied with what is there, you are constantly working on expanding your skills and our business model

YOUR TECHNICAL SKILLS
You have at least 5 years of professional experience
You have already worked in Scrum teams, you are familiar with agile project management
Dealing with application software is generally easy for you and your learn new software in no time at all
You are able to coach others, impart knowledge and gain trust
You have lived or worked abroad and you speak excellent English
