Computer Vision Engineer (offline)

Company: Synergy Sports, named by Fast Company as one of the world's top 10 most innovative companies in sports, seeks talented Senior Engineers to join our fully remote engineering team.

This position offers tremendous opportunities to work with the only company that delivers on-demand professional-level basketball, baseball, and hockey analytics linked to supporting to nearly 1500 pro teams, international, and college teams. Our systems are highly complex and contain petabytes of data and requiring extremely talented engineers to maintain the scale and efficiency of its products.

As a member of the Synergy team, you will contribute to the ongoing development of Synergy’s revolutionary and AI solutions. Some of the ongoing projects you will be involved are:

Design AI solutions for based Products in Sports for teams and leagues all over the world
Use your expertise in and to tackle exciting real-world Sports production problems

Years of experience: 4+

Requirements:
Have a PhD or Masters in , Science, or related field
Be passionate about creating innovative techniques, and making them robust and scalable
Have (at least) 4 years of experience in applying state-of-the-art and methods on industrial applications
Be autonomous, a team player with a positive mindset
Be creative and innovation-focused
Excellent communication skills in English and ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts
Broad expertise in and (e.g., object detection, tracking, segmentation, classification, 3D reconstruction, and , graphics rendering, etc.)
Solid programming skills with and/or C/
Previous experience in Tensorflow and/or


Bonus Superpowers:
Experience with Linux/Unix operating system.
Advanced usage of version control systems (e.g., GIT).
Knowledge of existing models used in for Sports.

Responsibilities:

Automated logging (player, ball, action detection, tracking...)
Automated production (framing), quality, Camera calibration
