QA Manual + Automation Engineer, Fintech Solution (offline)

They aim to modernize workplace systems used in wealth management investment platforms. DataArt's specialists are modifying and replacing the existing ones, assisting the client in driving business transformation.

We are seeking a remote QA Automation + Manual Engineer who will join the team managing the platform, focusing on ELT testing, DLT, and cloud infrastructure. You will be also responsible for client system integration and processing and maintaining internal applications alongside with vendor data.

About 700-1000 people are working on this project globally; the local team is at about 10 people. The team is mainly located in Saint Petersburg, working on data transformation and ETL. The team is using Postgre. Experience with capital markets and private equity would be a plus!

Responsibilities

Locate testable statements in documentation and design and adjust tests with the team
Identify integration issues and resolve them in new deployments, including Development/UAT; test separate services in relation to integration
Work with other teams to ensure QA issues are fixed and will not arise again
Work with colleagues and internal business users to understand their goals and to devise strategies to support them, while prioritizing requests and meeting deadlines
Partnering with the team, create and discuss technology vision throughout the process

Must have

Experience in automation and manual testing
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Familiarity with API testing
Knowledge of C# or other programming languages
Knowledge of Agile development methodology
Ability to analyze and work on business, functional, and technical requirements
Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Spoken English

Would be a plus

Strong knowledge of data centric testing approach and familiarity with ETL Testing
Basic programming skills allowing to convert data between different formats such as JSON or YAML
Amazon Cloud experience
Knowledge of financial industry
