About Probably Genetic

There are over 400 million people worldwide that have a rare disease, half of which are currently undiagnosed and half of which are children. The total rare disease population is larger than cancer and HIV combined, but currently it takes on average 5-7 years for these patients to get a diagnosis. With Probably Genetic, patients can find answers to their symptoms in a matter of weeks. Our online Symptom Checker identifies rare disease patients using state-of-the-art ML models, gets them tested through our direct to consumer genetic testing service, and helps connect these patients to potentially life-saving treatments and advocacy communities.

We're working with patient advocacy groups, bio-tech companies, and drug developers to offer this test at no cost to patients. As we grow, we need engineers to help scale/automate our sequencing pipeline, data scientists to improve our rare disease detection algorithms, designers to build delightful patient experiences, and operations employees to help with business development and laboratory logistics.

If working at the forefront of tech and healthcare, while directly helping undiagnosed patients, sounds exciting to you, apply to one of our positions below!
