    We're looking for a DevOps with experience designing, building and maintaining high-scale, big-data distributed systems. You'll work closely with a strong team of 16 DevOps engineers across the company to deliver stable and highly scalable product.

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Collaborate on designing and setting up new features and system improvements.
    • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
    • Lead efforts to enhance observability through advanced monitoring and logging solutions.
    • Update and maintain software processes and tools.
    • Quickly respond to any issues in production and team up with others to fix them.
    • Bring in current IT best practices to our setup.
    • Work on reducing costs for the solutions we use.
    • Database administration


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Have 3+ years of direct experience working in cloud infrastructure or software development.
    • 3+ years experience with Kubernetes
    • 2+ years experience with GCP or
    • 3+ years experience with AWS or Azure 
    • Programming skills in any scripting language
    • Practical knowledge in monitoring, logging, and setting up alerts.

    • Grafana / Open Telemetry
    • Elasticsearch
       

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Aerospike, MongoDB experience is a plus
    • Familiarity with high-scale, big-data distributed systems.
    • Familiar with CI/CD processes and tools. 
    • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools terraform/config connector/cross plane.
    • Skills in infrastructure or cost optimization.
    • Knowledge in the administration of PostgreSQL
    • Knowledge in the administration of Hadoop / HBase

    Our client is an online retailer that specializes in providing high-quality OE, OEM, aftermarket, and genuine auto parts for European vehicles.

    We are seeking a skilled and collaborative DevOps Engineer to support migration from Amazon EC2 to Amazon Fargate. The ideal candidate will contribute to both the migration and the platform development, actively shaping solutions and providing feedback throughout the process.

     

    Note: working schedule till 22:00 (UA)

     

    Requirements:

    • Experience with Amazon AWS: Aurora RDS, MySQL and Postgres, CodeDeploy, CloudWatch, EC2, ECS Fargate, Elastic Load Balancer, ElastiCache, Lambda
    • Strong experience with Docker, Elasticsearch, GitHub
    • CI/CD Pipeline Development
    • A background with release management platform
    • Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi preferred, AWS Boto3 is a nice-to-have)
    • Linux System Administration
    • Knowledge of Python
    • Ruby experience is a nice-to-have
    • Upper intermediate English level

     

    Responsibilities:

    • The assigned DevOps Engineer will assist with infrastructure as code development and migration from AWS EC2 to AWS ECS Fargate to containerize applications.
    • The DevOps Engineers will also help build a CI/CD pipeline with an orchestrator platform for the Software Engineering Team to use for self-service deployments.
    • Collaborate daily with the DevOps/Platform and Full-Stack Engineers.
    • DevOps Engineer should be able to provide design feedback to GitHub Pull Requests and solution architectures, problem-solve technical issues on AWS, and have experience with configuring dashboards and monitors in Datadog.
