On behalf of the client, we are currently seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join the client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, including providing APIs to frontend teams and working with analytics platforms like Matomo. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of backend systems that power the client's AI and ML-driven platform. You’ll be an essential part of the client's team, collaborating closely with frontend developers and other cross-functional team members to ensure smooth integration and optimal performance. The client uses Supabase as their database, and you’ll play a key role in maintaining and optimizing their data structure and schema.

Key responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs to support frontend integrations and ensure scalability.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure seamless data flow and API consumption.
- Provide and maintain APIs for analytics systems, including integration with tools such as Matomo.
- Handle database schema changes and deployments, primarily using Supabase.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and update backend systems as necessary to meet functional and performance specifications.
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams to understand and implement data and system requirements

Minimum Required Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in backend development using Python with a focus on API design and system integrations.
- 2+ years of experience in backend development using TypeScript with a focus on API design and system integrations.
- Experience with backend frameworks and databases like Supabase or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of database management, schema changes, and optimizing performance.
- Experience working with analytics platforms such as Matomo.
- Self-starter mindset, excellent problem-solving skills with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven track record of delivering backend systems in fast-paced environments.
- Upper-intermediate or higher level of English

Very Nice To Have:

- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS.
- Experience with real-time data systems such as WebSockets or Supabase real-time.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and rate limiting

- Work cross functionally to deliver software and data modeling solutions to solve customer workflow challenges;

- 2+ years of commercial work experience with frontend development using JavaScript/TypeScript;

On behalf of the client we are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join their distributed product development team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a high-impact role with the autonomy to shape both product and process within a modern technology stack. You will play a key role in full-cycle development — from architecture and design to deployment — helping drive the modernization of legacy systems and delivery of new platform features. You’ll collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams across time zones to ship scalable, high-quality applications. Your contributions will directly support the company’s growth initiatives as it builds out a core and specialty insurance platform.

Key responsibilities:

- Drive modernization of legacy systems and implementation of new features based on roadmap priorities
- Lead full SDLC activities: planning, coding, testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and deployment
 Architect, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Angular, Java, and Spring Boot
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and Microservices following best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet technical and business requirements
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as needed

Minimum requirements:

- 4+ full years of experience with development in Java, including:

--- 2+ full years with Java version 11+, Spring Boot 3.x, and Microservices

- 4+ full years of experience with development using Angular2+, including:

--- 1+ full years with Angular version 14+ (including standalone components and performance tuning)

- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Redis Cache, Liquibase, Docker/Kubernetes, SonarQube, Linters, Visual Studio Code, Git/Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines

- Strong command of RxJS, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design

- Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., NgRx, Akita)

- Knowledge of SaaS architecture and scaling strategies

- Understanding of design patterns, object-oriented design, and API security best practices

- Experience with Cypress, Jasmine, Karma, and test-driven development
