BookingPal is a travel technology platform that connects property management systems with major vacation rental and hospitality channels such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Expedia, and others. The platform handles reservations, rates, availability, taxes, payments, payouts, and channel synchronization. 

We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality and stability of BookingPal integrations and services. 

Responsibilities 

• Perform functional testing for web applications, booking flows, reservation processing, rates, taxes, and payout scenarios. 

• Execute API testing for internal and external integrations. 

• Validate request and response payloads for channel integrations. 

• Test background jobs, scheduled tasks, and backend services. 

• Verify logs, message queues, and service behavior after deployments. 

• Create and execute test cases, checklists, and regression scenarios. 

• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps. 

• Analyze requirements and clarify expected behavior with developers, analysts, and product managers.

In this role, you will

Our partner is an AI-powered intelligence hub designed for complex investigations. Their platform helps law enforcement, financial teams, and cyber threat hunters connect disparate data points to crack cases that were previously unsolvable.The core of the product is a high-performance data fusion engine that integrates various APIs, OSINT, and AI models. Accuracy and speed are critical, as the platform is a command center for analysts making high-stakes decisions.

You will work closely with the VP of RnD and a team of manual and automation QAs. This is a high-ownership environment where you aren't just running scripts—you are ensuring the reliability of tools that literally catch the bad guys.

P. S. You’ll be building the safety net for the same tools used to fight financial fraud and cybercrime.

Requirements

• Solid hands-on experience testing web applications manually
• Strong skills in test case design, checklists, and test documentation
• Experience with manual API testing using Postman
• High degree of ownership and ability to work independently
• Advanced English for clear, free communication with stakeholders

Will be a bonus

• Familiarity with performance and load testing concepts (for example JMeter)
• Experience with investigation or data-heavy intelligence platforms
• Basic understanding of test automation to collaborate closely with automation peers

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include

• Designing, writing, and maintaining clear test cases and checklists
• Running functional, regression, and exploratory testing
• Testing APIs manually with Postman and reporting issues you find
• Partnering with the VP of RnD to align testing with product goals
• Collaborating with manual and automation QA peers to ensure full coverage
• Reporting and tracking defects through to resolution
• Taking full accountability for the quality of deliveries
