Responsibilities

• Design and implement data ingestion pipelines for batch and streaming data
• Configure and maintain data orchestration workflows (Airflow, NiFi) and CI/CD automation for data processes
• Design and organize data layers within Data Lake architecture (HDFS, Iceberg, S3)
• Build and maintain secure and governed data environments using Apache Ranger, Atlas, and SDX
• Develop SQL queries and optimize performance for analytical workloads in Hive/Impala
• Collaborate on data modeling for analytics and BI, ensuring clean schemas and dimensional models
• Support machine learning workflows using Spark MLlib or Cloudera Machine Learning (CML)

Requirements

• Proven experience in building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines (batch and streaming)
• Strong knowledge of data engineering fundamentals: ETL/ELT, data governance, data warehousing, Medallion architecture
• Strong SQL skills for Data Warehouse data serving
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Python or Scala for data processing
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, and distributed systems optimization
• Experience with Apache Ranger and Atlas for security and metadata management
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency

We are seeking a qualified Senior Business Analyst / Proxy Product Owner with extensive experience in data-driven projects of varying complexity, ideally with a strong background in Data Warehouse (DWH) development and BI reporting.

In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening our Data Platform, enhancing data quality, and driving strategic initiatives through effective requirement gathering, in-depth problem analysis, and close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. This position combines classic business analysis with hands-on work involving data, dashboards, and analytical tools.
 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, refine, and prioritize business requirements aligned with strategic objectives
• Work closely with product owners, development teams, QA engineers, and designers to ensure clear understanding and implementation of business requirements
• Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions
• Create detailed documentation including process flows, user stories, and other artifacts to effectively communicate requirements and solution designs
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from underlying real needs
• Develop and maintain BI dashboards and regular analytical reports using Apache Superset, and occasionally Power BI, Tableau
• Create report prototypes and analytical visualizations independently when needed
• Contribute to the automation, standardization, and optimization of reporting processes
• Conduct demo sessions for stakeholders and prepare user documentation to facilitate adoption of delivered solutions
   

Requirements:

• 3–4 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst working on data-intensive projects involving BI solutions, reporting, and data platform development
• Confident SQL skills and a solid understanding of data modeling principles
• Practical experience with BI tools (Superset, Power BI, preferably Tableau)
• Proven ability to build and present dashboards and analytical insights
• Strong understanding of iterative ways of working, especially Scrum
• Upper-Intermediate level of English

• Experience participating in the end-to-end development of a Data Warehouse / SSA layer from scratch
