The Jr. Accounting Specialist position is a key member of the Finance team reporting to the Senior Accounting Specialist. The essential functions of this role include supporting monthly and annual reporting processes, performing routine controller tasks, assisting with regulatory filings and audits, and contributing to accurate financial operations through collaboration and data analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Contribute to the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g. US GAAP)
• Perform routine controller functions, including account reconciliations, variance analysis, and internal controls monitoring
• Support Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice review, coordination with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely payments
• Assist with regulatory compliance and filings, including state and international tax filings, transfer pricing documentation, and statutory reporting requirements
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, responding to auditor inquiries, and ensuring timely delivery of requested documentation
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, including data collection, variance tracking, and preparation of supporting schedules
• Utilize Excel and other tools to manage, analyze, and visualize financial data (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas)
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, tax, and operations teams to support business initiatives and reporting needs

• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the manager

   

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management required
• Experience and technical proficiency with NetSuite is considered an asset
• 1-3 years of related work experience
• Excellent written and oral English skills, clear and precise in communication
• Strong attention to detail

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word

You’ll help build a scalable and predictable accounting function by owning the general ledger, leading the month-end close process, and continuously improving accounting operations as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

We are looking for a Country Finance Chief Accountant to act as the statutory accounting authority in Ukraine, responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of local accounting records and statutory financial reporting. The role ensures compliance with local GAAP and regulatory requirements, provides oversight of SSC accounting outputs, and acts as the key escalation point for accounting issues. The position also serves as the main contact for auditors, tax advisors, and local authorities on statutory accounting and reporting matters.

• Review, challenge, and approve accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial data prepared by SSC in line with local GAAP and Group policies.
• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial results.

The Group Reporting & Consolidation team is the strategic core of the Finance Department. We serve as a centralized hub, driving the management accounting for our entire Group of companies. Our core mission is to deliver high-quality, accurate, and timely financial reporting for all individual subsidiaries and consolidated financial statements for the Group. Job Summary

You will be critical in executing and managing the daily financial operations for our European subsidiaries (Cyprus, Poland and Czechia). Your primary focus will be on Accounts Payable, Corporate Card management, and consolidated Software Accounting across all group entities. 

This role is paramount in ensuring the integrity of financial data, maintaining strict compliance with internal controls, and guaranteeing seamless collaboration with key external accounting providers to uphold accurate local, tax, and corporate records. Additionally, you will provide essential backup capacity within the Group Reporting & Consolidation team.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Accounts Payable & Compliance (Cyprus, Poland, Czechia):
  • Execute the accurate and timely processing and posting of vendor invoices
  • Ensure all AP transactions comply with internal controls, corporate policies, and proper posting by analytics
  • Review Purchase Orders (POs) for completeness and communicate with requestors to resolve any missing information
  • Perform reconciliation of accounts payable balances with vendor statements 
  • Ensure timely invoice posting to align with payment schedules
  • Control that all final vendor invoices are collected and registered in local compliance systems, if needed (e.g., KSeF in Poland)
  • Process accounting entries for import/export transactions related to the delivery of testing devices
• Corporate Card and Expense Management:
  • Manage the collection, verification, and accurate posting of corporate credit card transactions and reporting, ensuring inclusion of all necessary analytics data
  • Reconcile credit card statements against internal records, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Partner with Procurement Managers/Requestors to ensure timely collection of all required primary documents, transaction explanations, and internal requestor data, adhering to company policies
• Consolidated Software Accounting:
  • Track and accurately record software subscription expenses and license renewals in the accounting system
  • Create and maintain accurate software cards and actual statuses within the accounting system
  • Collaborate closely with the IT department to verify the software list and user counts, ensuring accurate expense posting by analytics
  • Calculate deferred expenses for dues and subscriptions, purchases and manage the posting of cost allocation transactions based on user counts
• External Collaboration & Internal Control:
  • Manage the efficient monthly transfer of primary documents and accounting registers to external accounting teams to maintain complete local books
  • Support the Head of Group Reporting & Consolidation in the quarterly/monthly reconciliation process between management accounting books and local statutory accounts for Poland and Czechia
  • Maintain comprehensive process documentation for all non-UA operational finance tasks to ensure seamless backup coverage during planned and unplanned absences

• A minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Solid understanding of management accounting principles and IFRS knowledge will be an advantage

We are looking for a highly reliable and hands-on accounting specialist / financial accountant / tax clerk with strong experience in German bookkeeping and accounting rules.

The person will support us as a freelance accounting specialist and will be responsible for the ongoing bookkeeping of two German businesses: one sole proprietorship and one limited liability company. The role includes financial accounting, payroll accounting, preparation of monthly accruals and provisions, asset accounting, VAT topics, pre-tax deduction, year-end closing preparation and coordination with the tax advisor.

A strong understanding of German accounting is required, especially HGB, SKR04, German invoices, incoming and outgoing invoices, payroll postings, company car benefits, non-cash benefits, occupational pension schemes, accruals, provisions, equity bookings and the differences between sole proprietorships and corporations.

The candidate must be able to read and understand German documents, invoices and accounting records. Spoken German is not mandatory, but the ability to read and interpret German invoices, contracts, payroll documents and tax-related communication is essential.

Strong IT skills are very important. The person must be comfortable working with browser-based cloud software, digital document processing, accounting systems and data exchange with tax advisors. Experience with DATEV is a plus, but the role is not limited to DATEV. The candidate should understand how accounting data can be imported from previous systems, how prior-year values can be transferred, and how accounting data can be exported or provided to a tax advisor through interfaces or structured data formats.

We are looking for someone very careful, structured and accurate, but also proactive and solution-oriented. This is not a role for someone who stops working whenever something is unclear. We need someone who investigates, organizes missing invoices, requests documents independently, documents processes internally and actively helps keep the business administration running.

Key responsibilities:

• Accounting/bookkeeping in internally developed management system (1C based)
• Prime documents workflow support (agreements, invoices, bank statements, etc)
• Collaboration with ERP dev team: task setting, requirements description, coordination and control
• Constant collaboration with external outsourced accountants, auditors and tax advisors
• Tax compliance in different jurisdictions
• Workflow and payments control
• Cash flow management

Required Experience:

• Work experience as an Accountant for at least 3 years
• Ability to "read" financial reports
• Fluent English and Russian (at least Upper-Intermediate)
• Excel skills
• Fluency in 1C

Що буде у ваших задачах:

• Нарахування заробітної плати, авансів, лікарняних, відпускних, компенсацій та інших виплат працівникам.
• Розрахунок податків, пов’язаних з оплатою праці (ПДФО, військовий збір, ЄСВ).
• Відображення операцій з оплати праці в бухгалтерському обліку.
• Формування та подання звітності, пов’язаної з оплатою праці (ДПС, органи статистики, виконавча служба тощо).
