We run two companies in the online trading space — a prop firm and a brokerage. We're hiring our first dedicated backend/full-stack engineer to own the back-end end-to-end, starting with a real-time risk-monitoring & fraud-detection platform.

 ▎ What you'll build:
 - Integrations with trading-platform Manager APIs (cTrader, MetaTrader 5) over long-lived TLS/binary socket connections auto-reconnect, heartbeats).
 - Data pipelines: ingest live account/trading events → enrich (IP geolocation, VPN/proxy detection) → run detection logic (multi-accounting, impossible travel, shared IPs) → store in PostgreSQL/Supabase.
 - Secure REST APIs + live-updating dashboards for our risk team.
 - Deployment & operations: CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, backups (Fly.io / Railway / Vercel-style stack).
 

We have polished front-ends and clear specs already — we need someone to wire them to live data and ship to production. High ownership,direct access to founders, fast decisions.

▎Must-have: 3+ yrs production backend/full-stack · strong Node.js/TypeScript · solid PostgreSQL · real-time data (WebSockets / persistent sockets) · production deployment & ops · good written English.

 ▎ Nice-to-have: protobuf / TCP-TLS socket clients · MT5/cTrader or brokerage APIs · Supabase · React · fraud/risk/anti-abuse tooling  GDPR awareness.
