We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain our Azure and Hetzner infrastructure for Predict+, a SaaS product leveraging AI/ML to forecast electricity generation and consumption. You will be responsible for disaster recovery, security (ISO27001), CI/CD automation, monitoring, and infrastructure scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Design and automate infrastructure on Azure and Hetzner, including Kubernetes clusters, DNS (CloudFlare), and VPN solutions.
- CI/CD Development: Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for Docker-based services.
- Disaster Recovery & Backup: Implement DR strategies, secure backups (Azure Storage, Hetzner StorageBox) and ensure database integrity (TimescaleDB, ClickHouse).
- Security & Compliance: Maintain ISO27001 compliance, manage Keycloak authentication, conduct vulnerability scans, and enforce firewall rules.
- Monitoring & Observability: Deploy Zabbix, explore Kubernetes monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus), and create custom alerts & dashboards.
- Automation & Scripting: Use Ansible for infrastructure automation, write scripts (Python, Bash) for environment management and container maintenance.
Collaboration & Leadership: Act as a technical leader, mentor teammates, and support cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in DevOps/SRE, with 2+ years in a senior role.
- Strong expertise in Azure (VMs, AKS, Storage, Key Vault) and Hetzner.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Advanced knowledge of Ansible, Python, Bash, and networking (VPN, DNS, firewall rules).
- Experience with Zabbix monitoring and security best practices (ISO27001).
- Knowledge of TimescaleDB/ClickHouse (a plus).
Nice to Have
- Experience with Harbor/ACR, SIEM integrations, GPU workloads, or multi-cloud environments.
