Core Testing Knowledge (Must-have)

• Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
• Understanding of STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle)
• Types of testing:
  • Functional testing
  • Regression testing
  • Smoke / sanity testing
• Exploratory testing (very important)
  • Ability to design:
  • Test suites
  • Test cases
  • Test scenarios
  • Test plans
  • Test reports
• Checklists (important in an exploratory approach)
• Comfortable working without predefined test cases and relying on requirements and logical thinking

Bug Reporting & Tools

Experience with bug tracking tools:

• Jira (must-have)
• Optional: TestRail, Zephyr
• Ability to write clear, detailed, and high-quality bug reports

Test Management Tools

• Experience with at least one test management tool
• Ability to quickly adapt to a new tool based on prior experience

1. Web Application Basics
   Understanding of:
   • HTTP/HTTPS
   • Browser behavior
   • Cookies & sessions
   • Caching
   • Basic tools:
     • Browser DevTools (Network, Console)
     • Inspecting elements (HTML/CSS basics)

API Testing

• Basic experience with API testing
• Ability to support backend testing (we plan to build our own testing collection)

E-commerce Domain Knowledge

• Understanding of:
  • Cart & checkout flow
  • Discounts / cart price rules
  • Product types (simple, configurable, grouped)
  • Wishlist functionality

  • Payment & shipping logic

     

Cross-Platform Testing

• Experience in testing both web and mobile applications (including native mobile apps)

   

Database Basics & Automation Awareness (Nice-to-have / Big Plus)

• Basic database knowledge
• Awareness of test automation concepts

Key Requirements:

- At least 2 years experience with Magento 2 frontend

- Good knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript

- At least B1 English level (B2 will be a HUGE plus)

- Experience with HYVA themes will be a huge plus for the candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Creation of Magento 2 themes

- Implementation of responsive design for different web browsers and platforms

- Work with custom JS functionality, adjustment of the frontend functionality of 3rd-party Magento modules

- Supporting existing solutions

- Take part in the development of our own tools and frameworks

- Project deployment and basic testing
