    Responsibilities:

    • Contract Drafting and Review: Prepare, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including commercial agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and vendor contracts. Ensure that all agreements comply with applicable laws and company policies.

    • Legal Research: Conduct comprehensive legal research on various issues related to the company’s operations, including regulatory changes, industry-specific laws, and case law.

    • Compliance and Risk Management: Assist in ensuring the company’s compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including corporate governance, labor laws, intellectual property, and environmental laws. Support the development of compliance programs.

    • Litigation Support: Assist in managing ongoing litigation, including preparing documents, coordinating with external counsel, and helping to develop litigation strategies.

    • Legal Advice: Provide legal advice and guidance to internal departments on a variety of matters, such as corporate governance, labor disputes, commercial transactions, and intellectual property.

    • Documentation and Filing: Prepare and maintain legal documents, including case files, contracts, reports, and corporate records. Ensure that all filings are made in compliance with deadlines and legal requirements.

    • Dispute Resolution: Assist in dispute resolution processes, including mediation, arbitration, or settlement discussions.

    • Collaboration: Work closely with the business, finance, HR, and other departments to identify and mitigate legal risks and ensure smooth business operations

    • Any other task related to the role


    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in law

    • 2+ years of experience working in a corporate law firm or in-house legal department

    • Experience in commercial contracts, corporate law, compliance, or other relevant areas is a plus

    • Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and general legal principles

    • Proficiency in legal research and the ability to analyze complex legal issues

    • Excellent written and spoken English

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain legal matters in a clear and concise manner

    • Attention to details and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

    As our IT Manager, you will be responsible for leading business process automation, infrastructure management, and technology innovation across all Velex Group activities. You will optimize workflows, implement digital solutions, and ensure seamless IT operations that support our diverse business units.


    Key Responsibilities

    1. Business Process Automation & Digital Transformation

    •  Lead the automation of key business processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload across Velex Group’s verticals (Finance, Investments, Advisory, Marketing, and Technology)

    •  Identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions, and low/no-code automation tools to optimize workflows

    •  Work closely with department heads to map existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement digital solutions

    •  Develop customized ERP/CRM integrations for real-time data synchronization across platforms

    •  Ensure seamless adoption of automation tools through user training and change management strategies

    2. IT Infrastructure Management

    •  Oversee IT systems, cloud infrastructure, servers, and networking to ensure smooth operations across all Velex Group entities

    •  Manage cybersecurity measures, ensuring compliance with international standards and best practices (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.)

    •  Optimize IT infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and performance, ensuring minimal downtime

    •  Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans to safeguard operations

    •  Evaluate and manage IT vendors, cloud service providers, and software solutions

    3. Emerging Technology Implementation

    •  Lead the adoption of AI, blockchain, IoT, data analytics, and cloud computing solutions across Velex Group’s activities

    •  Assess emerging technology trends and recommend tools that enhance business operations and customer experiences

    •  Drive the digital transformation roadmap, integrating innovative tech into investment, finance, advisory, and marketing processes

    •  Partner with data & analytics teams to develop insights-driven decision-making frameworks

    4. IT Support & Security

    •  Provide strategic IT leadership, ensuring reliable IT support for employees and business units

    •  Establish IT governance policies related to access control, cybersecurity, and compliance

    •  Implement secure authentication systems (SSO, MFA) and advanced data protection measures

    •  Conduct IT audits and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

    5. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration

    •  Build and manage an IT team, ensuring high performance and alignment with business objectives

    • Collaborate with business heads, finance teams, and operational managers to align IT strategies with organizational goals

    •  Oversee IT project management, ensuring successful implementation of digital initiatives


    Key Qualifications & Requirements

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

    • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT management, process automation, infrastructure management, or emerging technologies

    • Strong background in business process automation (RPA, AI-powered workflows, low/no-code tools)

    • Proven experience in managing enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and cybersecurity

    • Experience leading digital transformation initiatives, including AI, IoT, and blockchain integration.

    • Expertise in data governance, analytics tools, and enterprise system integration (ERP, CRM, APIs, etc.)

    Technical Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of business process automation tools (UiPath, Power Automate, Zapier, Camunda, etc.)

    • Hands-on experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and networking (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, VPNs, firewalls, etc.)

    • Proficiency in enterprise IT security, endpoint management, and identity management (SSO, MFA, IAM solutions).

    Responsibilities
    :
    • Development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures pursuant to legislative and regulatory requirements of the MENA region
    • Participate in the certification process of payment systems, including representing the company for Visa and Mastercard, which includes compliance assessment and preparation of necessary documents
    • Ensuring compliance with licensing regulations for payment services, cryptocurrencies and other regulated activities
    • Monitoring regulatory changes, identifying and assessing potential risks to the business
    • Conducting internal audits and monitoring compliance with established compliance policies
    • Preparing reports for internal and external regulators and participating in inspections and audits
    • Training company employees in compliance standards
    • Liaising with other departments to ensure that compliance is integrated into business processes
    Requirements:
    • A relevant certification in compliance (e.g. SCCE, ACAMS or similar) is preferred
    • At least 2 years of experience in compliance in payment, fintech or related field
    • Strong understanding of licensing processes in payment services and cryptocurrencies
    • Experience in developing and implementing compliance policies and participating in Visa and Mastercard certifications
    • Ability to conduct risk analysis and develop risk mitigation strategies
