Role Overview:

We are looking for a Content Manager to create and manage high-quality, engaging content for our English- and French-speaking audiences, with a strong focus on African markets.

The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and French, has an excellent understanding of cultural and linguistic nuances across African markets, and knows how to adapt content to different audiences while maintaining a consistent brand voice.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop manage, and execute content plans for client`s PR & blogs in both English and French
Create, edit, proofread, and localize content for websites, landing pages and blogs
Adapt global and regional messaging to ensure it is culturally relevant and engaging for target African markets
Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and messaging across English and French languages content
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Design, Product, SEO, and other teams to support campaigns, product launches, and business initiatives
Manage the content calendar and coordinate content production and publication
Research local market trends, audience interests, competitors, and cultural insights to identify relevant content opportunities
Optimize content based on engagement, traffic, conversion, and other performance metrics
Ensure all published content is accurate, high-quality, and aligned with brand and compliance requirements

Requirements:

Fluency in English and French (written and spoken), with excellent writing and editing skills in both languages
Proven experience in fintech, financial services, payments, digital banking, or a closely related industry
Strong knowledge and understanding of African markets, audiences, and cultural nuances, particularly across English and French speaking regions
Experience creating content for multiple African markets, particularly across both Francophone and Anglophone regions
Understanding of SEO principles and content performance analytics
Proven experience in content management, copywriting, digital marketing, communications
Ability to create and localize content for different markets rather than simply translate it
Strong storytelling skills and a good understanding of digital content formats
Experience working with CMS platforms, social media, and digital marketing tools
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of written communication
Experience working in an international or cross-cultural team
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment

digital marketing agency is a plus
proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Hootsuite, HubSpot etc.
strong understanding of SEO, PPC, social media advertising, email marketing, and content management systems (CMS)
strong ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to improve campaign performance and ROI
excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and strategies to both internal and external stakeholders
excellent written and spoken English language skills
knowledge of HTML/CSS for email marketing or landing page design would be a plus
