TODA Pay is an international fintech company operating in the digital payments and financial infrastructure space across multiple jurisdictions. We support high-growth payment operations with multi-currency transactions, crypto payments, and complex corporate structures.
 

The CFO position is a key driver of TODA Pay’s development. TODA Pay is currently in an active scaling phase. We are looking for an “architect of scale” and a systematic leader capable of building the company’s international financial architecture from scratch, creating a transparent management accounting system, and turning the finance function into a powerful driver of growth, profitability, and security.

Mission: Build and lead a strong finance function that will transform TODA Pay into an internationally sustainable fintech holding company with predictable cash flows, an impeccable capital structure, and full transparency for investors and partners.
 

Key Responsibilities
 

1. Financial Strategy & Planning

• Manage capital, financial risks, budget allocation, and financial modeling.
• Shape the liquidity utilization strategy for the international system and units of account, ensuring audit transparency.
• Optimize tax, financial, and legal structures for working with transactional products.
• Manage group financial flows, FX risks, and hedging strategies.
   

2. Liquidity & Treasury

• Control liquidity, operating balances, bank accounts, and crypto settlements.
• Ensure seamless control over asset movements and accelerate currency conversion in crypto-fiat pairs.
• Mitigate financial risks and define optimal strategies to ensure balance sheet resilience as transaction volume grows.
   

3. Management Control & Economics

• Implement end-to-end management accounting, tracking P&L down to product level, customer, geo, and legal entity.
• Control and optimize commissions and expenses for payment gateways, acquiring, banks, and partners.
• Ensure product margin profitability across both retail and corporate segments.
   

4. FP&A, Reporting & Audit

• Take full responsibility for P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow across multiple business directions.
• Lead regular reporting preparation for C-level executives and investors.
• Build a unified Dashboard system for key CEO/CFO metrics, timelines, and financial analytics.
• Conduct financial audits with external partners, investors, and tax authorities.
   

5. Accounting, Taxes & Intercompany Settlements

• Coordinate international accounting for legal entities across Asia, CIS, UAE, Europe, and other jurisdictions.
• Ensure compliance with tax legislation, transfer pricing rules, and integrity of international transfers.
• Set up reporting processes and tax collection with legal partners.
   

6. Risk Management & Anti-Fraud Collaboration

• Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Anti-Fraud, and Legal teams to manage payment risks.
• Minimize the risk of chargebacks and asset freezes on acquirers, correspondent accounts, and crypto exchanges.
• Validate partner terms, restrictions, and AML/KYC requirements for payment methods.
   

7. Financial Engineering & Automation

• Build transparent, scalable financial processes and internal control systems.
• Implement automated accounting systems to reduce manual labor, eliminate errors, and ensure audit transparency.
   

Requirements:

• Significant experience in a similar financial role (CFO, VP of Finance) in fintech, payment services, crypto, or Web3.
• Deep understanding of international payment systems, acquiring, and fiat-crypto infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience working with rare, complex, and high-risk jurisdictions (High Risk / Mid Risk).
• Practical experience operating in international jurisdictions, particularly Asia, UAE, and Europe.
• Understanding of enterprise-level operations with fiat and crypto assets, as well as stablecoins.
• Track record of building scalable financial structures from scratch in fast-paced environments.
• Experience handling large transaction volumes and scaling fintech products.
• Understanding of fundraising mechanics, M&A, and working with venture capital or private investors.

• Reconcile acquiring and payout flows, including turnover, fees, settlements, refunds, chargebacks, and rolling reserves.
• Compare provider reports with internal system data and identify discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation differences with relevant teams.
• Support settlement calculations and verify payable amounts based on commercial terms, fees, FX rates, and settlement periods.
• Monitor merchant and provider balances, settlements, payouts, deductions, and adjustments.
• Track rolling reserve accruals, releases, adjustments, crypto conversions, and wallet transfers when applicable.
• Prepare financial data for monthly and annual merchant reports.
• Support Treasury by validating provider balances and settlement schedules.
• Provide financial data, margin calculations, fee checks, and ad hoc reports for KAM, Business Development, and management.
• Maintain clear documentation of reconciliation logic, workflows, data sources, and recurring issues.
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives for reconciliation files, reports, and calculation templates.
  
  Requirements:
• Experience in fintech, payment processing, acquiring, e-commerce, or crypto payments preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in financial reconciliation, settlement operations, payment operations, treasury support, accounting, or finance operations.
• Understanding of transaction flows, settlements, fees, refunds, chargebacks, balances, and rolling reserves.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and reconciliation files.
• Ability to work with large datasets and identify discrepancies.
• Experience with multi-currency transactions and FX calculations.
• High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, analytical thinking, and structured task management.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with Finance, Treasury, KAM, Business Development, and Operations teams.
• Experience with Corefy or similar processing platforms, BI tools, APIs, or automated reporting tools is an advantage.
• Strong practical Excel / Google Sheets skills and ability to pass a reconciliation test.
• Ability to explain discrepancies clearly and propose resolution steps.
• Understanding of payment settlement logic, fees, reserves, refunds, chargebacks, and FX impact.
• Accuracy, responsibility, and ability to handle repetitive but high-risk financial tasks.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced fintech environment with urgent operational requests.
