About the Role

We are looking for a GNC Algorithm Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) solutions for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

In this role, you will participate in the full algorithm development lifecycle - from mathematical modeling and simulation to implementation, optimization, and real-world flight testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and optimize Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) algorithms for UAVs
• Modify and adapt algorithm parameters for specific aircraft platforms
• Build dynamic models and perform simulations (SITL/HITL) using tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, JSBSim, Gazebo, or similar environments
• Support, configure, and tune autopilot systems such as ArduPilot and PX4

We have a solid automation framework built on Java and Selenium - and we need someone who can maintain it, extend it, and move fast using AI tools. 

This isn't a "write tests from scratch in a greenfield" role. The framework has real architecture: OOP patterns, TestNG, Maven, OAuth2 integrations. You'll need to understand what's already there and build on it confidently - with Claude as part of your daily workflow.

• Maintain and extend an existing Java/Selenium automation framework - complex OOP architecture, not just simple scripts.
• Automate UI tests using Page Object Model and Selenium WebDriver, including dynamic web elements.

Our client build autonomous navigation for UAVs - systems that actually fly, in real conditions, without GPS as a crutch. The team is small, the problems are hard, and the code ends up on hardware. 

If you've worked on vision systems that had to work in the field - not just in simulation - this might be worth a look.

• 5+ years in computer vision, with real experience in robotics, UAVs, or autonomous systems.
• Shipped real-time vision algorithms — detection, tracking, segmentation, or navigation — not just research code.
