Main goals: As a Product Designer at Skylum, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and interface of our software products, with a primary focus on Luminar Mobile and other related applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, and engineers, to create user-centric design solutions that enhance the way photographers interact with our software.

Requirements:

• A minimum of three years of experience in product design, with a focus on user interface and user experience.
• Experience of creating iOS, iPadOS, Android apps
• Strong proficiency with Figma (design systems, advanced prototyping)
• Solid understanding of Android Material Design and Apple Human Interface Guidelines (HIG), with the ability to apply platform-specific patterns while balancing business goals.
• Hands-on experience designing onboarding flows, subscription paywalls, and upsell experiences, retention mechanics that directly impact activation and conversion.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks; ability to collaborate with product managers and analysts to validate hypotheses.
• A well-rounded portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including UI/UX projects. Be prepared to discuss your design process and the impact of your work.
• Experience in conducting user research and usability testing is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of photography or image editing is a plus, but not required.
• English - intermediate or higher.

Responsibilities:

• User-Centered Design: Understand and advocate for the needs and desires of our diverse user base. Conduct user research to identify pain points and opportunities, and translate findings into design solutions.
• UI/UX Design: Create intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and functional user interfaces that provide a seamless experience for our customers. Ensure consistency across all product elements.
• Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes to communicate and test design concepts, iterating as necessary based on user feedback and design critiques.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other designers, to gather input and ensure alignment throughout the design process.
• Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to validate design decisions and gather insights for further improvements.
• Design Documentation: Produce comprehensive design specifications, style guides, and assets for development teams.
• Stay Current: Keep up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively bring new ideas to the team.

Role mission:

You will be responsible for developing the image processing solutions that are the base for intelligent photo-editing ability, contributing to the cross-platform library that works on all modern platforms like desktop, mobile, and web.

Skills we look for:

• At least 4 years of professional C++ development experience;
• Experience in image processing or computer vision/computer graphics field;
• The ability to formulate and set goals clearly focusing on the result of work and time constraints withstanding;
• Proficiency in decomposition and further estimation of the scope of problems with a realistic duration of work;
• Good communication and coordination skills;
• Analytical mindset.

Would be a plus:

• Mobile development experience (JNI);
• Experience with graphics accelerators (Vulkan, Metal);
• Experience with image processing algorithms and frameworks (OpenCV, and AccelerateFramework);
• Experience with one of the ml-inferencing frameworks (openVINO, DirectML, CoreML);

Role Mission
You will be responsible for testing a photo-editing desktop application powered by advanced image processing solutions and artificial intelligence models based on neural network algorithms.
In addition, this role may occasionally involve testing related mobile and web services components.
Your mission is to ensure product quality across all stages — from initial data science prototypes to core image processing functions and full-featured desktop interfaces (for both macOS and Windows platforms).

Responsibilities
 

• Perform complex exploratory testing of AI-driven photo-editing features and neural network–based models.
• Analyze and validate core image processing engine performance, algorithms, and their integration within the application.
• Conduct functional and integration testing of the desktop photo-editing interface.
• Develop, maintain, and improve test documentation, including test cases, checklists, and reports.
• Collect and analyze QA metrics; provide clear reporting to the QA Lead.
• Collaborate with the Customer Support team to investigate and reproduce user-reported issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with development, product, and design teams to ensure quality delivery.
• Perform proof-of-concept validation and support product customization testing.
• Build technical expertise in SQL/SQLite, CI pipelines (Jenkins), Git, system services on macOS and Windows, and web-API testing tools.

We’re looking for a strong Product Analyst to join the Skylum team and work closely with our CPO and Product Managers. This role is not a service function – it’s a key partner in decision-making, helping drive product growth through data, insights, and experimentation.

What you’ll do:

• Build, maintain, and own our product analytics infrastructure (Tableau, Amplitude), including event design, dashboard quality control, and experiment tracking.
• Set up and analyze A/B tests, providing clear recommendations and learnings.
• Deep dive into multiple data sources to understand how customers interact with all Skylum products, identify insights, and recommend actions to improve key product and business metrics (activation, retention, LTV).
• Collaborate closely with the CPO and Product Managers, proactively exploring data to uncover opportunities and share findings in a structured, actionable way.
• Ensure reliability, consistency, and transparency of analytical data across teams.
   

Requirements:

• Solid knowledge of core product metrics and experience turning insights into actionable plans.
• Advanced SQL skills and the ability to work with large datasets.
• Proficiency with BI tools, preferably Tableau.
• Strong experience with Amplitude, AppsFlyer, Firebase, or similar product analytics tools.
• Solid statistical foundation and understanding of experiment design.

• 3+ years of experience in Computer Vision / Image Processing, primarily with C++
• Proven experience developing production-grade image processing
• Solid mathematical foundation in image analysis and color science
• Detail-oriented, creative, and passionate about pushing visual quality
• English: intermediate or higher (technical reading and team communication)

• Research and develop image post-processing algorithms: enhancement, artistic effects, filters, relighting, and tone mapping
• Combine traditional CV algorithms with AI-based
• Integrate and optimize AI inference pipelines (ONNX Runtime, OpenVINO, TensorRT) within C++ production code
• Optimize image and AI processing for GPU, SIMD, and multi-threaded environments
• Collaborate closely with AI Research, and Product Design teams to bring new visual technologies into Luminar Neo

Tech Stack

• C++17/20, STL, multithreading, GPU (CUDA / OpenCL / Metal / DirectML)
• OpenCV or similar performance-oriented libraries
• ONNX Runtime / TorchScript / TensorRT / OpenVINO for inference acceleration
• Strong understanding of image processing fundamentals — color spaces, filtering, denoising, edge detection, matting, tone mapping
