    Why this role exists

We’re scaling quickly and the Product Owner needs a partner who can turn broad ideas into crystal-clear, developer-ready work. You will keep our roadmap moving by extracting requirements from diverse stakeholders, translating them into clean tickets and ensuring the backlog is always two sprints ahead.

    Core responsibilities

    • Scope decomposition – Break epics into granular stories with measurable acceptance criteria; maintain traceability from business objective → feature → story → task.
    • Requirements gathering – Run discovery sessions with Marketing, Compliance, Operations and Engineering; capture edge cases and non-functional needs.
    • Documentation & backlog hygiene – Own ClickUp: prioritise, refine and keep it estimation-ready; ensure every artefact (PRD, user flow, wireframe) is current and version-controlled in Notion and FigJam.
    • Stakeholder communication – Write crisp summary notes, decision logs and risk lists; surface trade-offs and blockers promptly in clear English.
    • Process stewardship (optional) – Help run grooming, planning and retros; spot workflow gaps and propose adjustments before they become issues.

    Minimum requirements

    • Experience – 3+ years as a Business Analyst or Product-management support, with a track record of turning stakeholder input into delivery-ready work.
    • Communication – Fluent spoken and written English; comfortable running meetings and producing documentation without supervision.
    • Methodology – Solid working knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban and backlog maintenance.
    • Tools – Daily use of ClickUp for ticketing, Notion for knowledge base, FigJam for flows.
    • Ownership mindset – Confident taking an ill-defined problem, closing gaps and presenting a complete, actionable solution.

    Preferred

    • Experience in regulated or health-tech products (HIPAA, FDA tele-medicine guidance).
    • Comfort with basic analytics (product-metrics dashboards).

    Why this role exists

SkinnyRx is scaling rapidly, and retention has become one of our most critical growth levers. We are looking for a Head of Retention who will own the full post-acquisition customer journey — from first prescription to long-term adherence and lifetime value.

This role exists to turn data, behavioral insights, and experimentation into sustainable revenue growth. You will build and lead retention strategy across product, lifecycle marketing, and analytics, ensuring patients stay engaged, compliant, and successful with their weight loss programs.

    Core responsibilities

    Retention Strategy & Ownership

    • Own retention, churn reduction, LTV, and cohort performance across the entire patient lifecycle.
    • Define and execute a long-term retention roadmap aligned with business and medical outcomes.

    Lifecycle & Engagement

    • Design and optimize lifecycle journeys (onboarding, activation, adherence, renewal, win-back).
    • Partner with Product and Marketing to improve in-app, email, SMS, and CRM-driven engagement.

    Data & Experimentation

    • Build a strong experimentation culture: hypotheses, A/B tests, cohort analysis, and clear success metrics.
    • Analyze behavioral data to identify drop-off points, churn drivers, and growth opportunities.

    Cross-functional Leadership

    • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Medical, Compliance, Marketing, and Operations teams.
    • Translate insights into clear product requirements and actionable initiatives.

Team & Process (as we scale)

    • Help shape retention processes, dashboards, and reporting standards.
    • Potentially hire and lead retention-focused analysts or lifecycle specialists over time.

    Minimum requirements

    Experience

    • 4+ years in retention, growth, lifecycle marketing, or product analytics roles.
    • Proven experience owning retention metrics in B2C or subscription-based products.

    Analytics & Tools

    • Strong understanding of cohorts, funnels, LTV, churn, and experimentation frameworks.
    • Hands-on experience with analytics tools (Amplitude, GA, Metabase).
    • Ability to work closely with data and make decisions backed by evidence.

    Product & User Mindset

    • Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams on retention-driven features.
    • Strong user empathy and understanding of behavioral economics.

    Communication

    • Fluent spoken and written English (B2+).
    • Comfortable presenting insights, roadmaps, and results to leadership.

    Ownership Mentality

    • Able to take ambiguous problems, define structure, and drive them to measurable impact.

    Preferred

    • Experience in healthcare, telehealth, wellness, or regulated products.
    • Experience with subscription, refill-based, or adherence-driven business models.
    • Background in growth or experimentation-heavy environments.

    What we offer

    • A key leadership role with direct impact on company growth and patient outcomes.
    • Full ownership of retention strategy in a fast-growing health-tech product.
    • Remote-first culture with flexible working hours.
    • Competitive salary.
    • Opportunity to build and scale retention as a core company function.
