Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are a global hosting IaaS platform providing physical and cloud servers to customers from the USA, Europe, Asia. We also work with different services – load balancer, Managed Kubernetes, monitoring and Firewall. We build a fully automated platform able to cover various requirements of our customers all over the world.

We are looking for a Junior Provisioning Engineer to join us due to the expansion of the Networking team in Slovakia.

On this role, you will interact with various teams within our company that develop and maintain our network infrastructure.

No advanced experience required — just a basic PC background and a passion for learning.

On this role you will:

• interact with various teams within our company that develop and maintain our network infrastructure;
• configure network equipment (Juniper, Brocade, Extreme);
• arrange maintenance for network infrastructure in data centers;
• create technical tasks for on-site engineers to install and replace network equipment;

• conduct business correspondence with service providers.

   

Basic requirements:

• entry-level PC background (details involving server and network technology are taught by us);
• attentiveness, diligence, curiosity, and readiness to perform routine tasks

• written and spoken English from Intermediate+ level.

Clients use our services to deploy game servers, payment gateways, streaming services and other high-load systems.

Key tasks:

• configuration of network equipment;
• new network setups;
• network monitoring;
• basic troubleshooting;
• network documentation.

Requirements:

• basic understanding of:
  • LAN/WAN;
  • dynamic routing principle;
  • network troubleshooting;
• attitude towards learning.

Will be a plus:

• experience with various network equipment;
• experience in telecom and/or datacenter networking.
• certifications from network equipment and software vendors;

We are looking for a Network Engineer to join us.

Clients use our services to deploy game servers, payment gateways, streaming services and other high-load systems.

Key tasks:

• providing network equipment administration at multiple data centers;
• performing the routine and emergency maintenance works on network equipment;
• dealing with requests from external and internal clients;

• directly participating in internal projects (developing network, connecting new locations, implementing new equipment, automation).

   

Requirements:

• proficiency in LAN/WAN principles;
• strong understanding of dynamic network protocols (BGP/OSPF);
• understanding L2-networking: VLANs, xSTP family, LACP, Redundancy (LACP/VRRP/etc);
• ability to perform basic network troubleshooting;
• English level sufficient for reading technical documentation and communicating with customers (Intermediate at least);

• ability to learn, communication skills, willingness to take in and analyze large amounts of new information (mostly technical in English).

   

Will be a plus:

• experience with network equipment from Extreme, Juniper or Nokia;
• EVPN and/or MPLS knowledge;
• certifications from network equipment and software vendors;

• experience in telecom and/or datacenter networking.
