QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) — EasyAcc

EasyAcc.pl is a fintech/accounting platform for Polish SMEs.  
The product includes a Vue frontend, Python/FastAPI backend, and a Kotlin microservice for OCR, tax logic, and integrations (including KSeF).  
We are looking for a QA Engineer who can improve product quality across web UI, API, and business-critical accounting flows.

What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end quality for new features and regressions
- Design and execute manual test plans for UI, API, and core accounting flows
- Write and maintain test cases, checklists, and bug reports with clear reproduction steps
- Validate AI-assisted invoice extraction and tax-related calculations
- Work closely with developers and product to clarify acceptance criteria
- Participate in release validation and production issue triage
- Build and maintain automated UI tests for key user journeys

Must-Have Skills
- 2+ years in QA for web applications
- Strong manual testing skills (functional, regression, exploratory)
- API testing experience (REST, auth, status codes, payload validation)
- Good understanding of browser dev tools and network debugging
- Experience with defect lifecycle and test documentation
- Ability to write UI tests (for example with Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
- Strong ownership, communication, and analytical thinking

Nice to Have (Big Plus)
- Polish language
- Experience testing fintech/accounting/tax products
- Familiarity with CI/CD and test reporting
- Basic SQL for data validation
- Experience in performance and security-focused QA checks

What Success Looks Like in This Role
- Critical regressions are caught before release
- Core flows (login, invoices, OCR, tax validation, KSeF) are reliably covered
- Automation coverage grows for high-risk UI paths
- QA becomes a proactive quality partner, not just a final gate
